Marion "Renny" Lorenzo Ferris' Obituary
Marion Lorenzo Ferris, age 73, passed away January 16, 2023 at his home in Provo, Utah. Born June 9, 1949 in Provo, Utah to Lavar and Elaine Ewell Ferris. Married Esther Murrell in Eugene, Oregon June 2001. Later sealed in the Manti Temple January 2003.
Served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and a certificate for making over 40 jumps out of a plane. He worked as an Inspector at Valtec Valve Manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife Esther; children Camille (Chris) Rawlings, and Trevor Ferris; step-children Angela, William, and Michael Doramus; grandchildren Autumn, Sage, Chloe, and Mary; two great-grandchildren; siblings Nancy (Bill) Haines and Terry (Carole) Ferris.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday January 21, 2023 at the Bonneville 3rd Ward, 715 South Utah Avenue ~ Provo, Utah with a viewing to begin at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Springville City Cemetery.
Renny was a loving husband, father, and grandfather as well as a kind brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed.
