I am honored to tribute my performance tonight of Hallmarked at Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy to my sweet mamma- Marjorie Ann Wilson whom performed over the years at our small original theatre on Main Street and then many times at the Hale Theatre in West Valley! This one’s for YOU!
Thanks to mama- I have the joy of theatre and incredible storytelling- all because of her! This picture below is when Marjorie, Lowell, and myself played 3 of the 4 grandparents in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory years ago… oh my! The bed was actually a trampoline that we jumped on for joy later- when Charlie found the Golden ticket!!
If Marjie Wilson (My Mother) had-dent done enough already by bringing me into the world…she made sure I was taught in the order of things pertaining to the kingdom of God. Finding myself through her words of encouragement was the blessing I grew up with…Phrases like, “Be Good and You’ll be happy!” “Sweet Dreams and No Bad nightmares” were often spoken. The stillness and peace brought by ever present softly sung lullabies will never be forgotten… she sung to us at bed time or in our times of trouble, during the good and the bad… she filled our souls with music. My heart is filled with wonder as I reflect on her wonderful contribution and service in this life…She is still there helping and nurturing us… With great love I thank her forever and ever….
