Mark B Delaney's Obituary
Mark was born in Idaho Falls, ID on August 18, 1954 to Cleve and Dixie Delaney. After a few short years the family moved to Galveston, TX and then later to LaMarque, TX where he grew up. He loved being near The Gulf of America and beaches where he learned to surf at a young age becoming very skilled at it. He also enjoyed sports playing baseball with the city leagues, loved music especially ZZTop, watching NASCAR and football with the Dallas Cowboys as his favorite team. In 1977 Mark joined the US Coast Guard where he traveled The Gulf of America. Upon leaving the US Coast Guard he returned to Idaho Falls, ID where he attended ISU receiving a degree in machinery. In 1979 he married Jerilyn Lubbers and later moved to Utah in 1982 to work for Klune Industries and raise their two sons. He loved the outdoors, surfing, camping, fishing, boating, sports and being with his family. Mark left this world at the age of 71 on September 18, 2025 at the U of U hospital surrounded by family. Jerilyn L. Delaney, his two sons Marcus (Jody) Delaney, Andrew Bo (Jessica) Delaney, his three grandchildren Jayden (Trenton) Coy, Mason (Victoria) Delaney, MaKye Delaney, his four great grandchildren Bryton, Blakely, Brier, Kash and his sister Margo (Mitch) Conan. Mark touched
many lives and will be deeply missed but always and forever in our hearts. We love you Pops
