Since hearing of Mark's passing I have reflected on the nearly 26 years that my late wife, Yvonne, and I had as good friends of Mark and Freda. Our move from North Carolina to Spanish Fork brought us a new friendship. Yvonne and I loved to travel, so the four of us enjoyed great trips to Branson, Hawaii, Island Park, Idaho, St. George for live Broadway type shows and many cruises. Mark and I, after a military funeral, would make our way to a fast food place for a sandwich and a good visit. The world has lost some of its glow with the loss of my good friend Mark. May the Lord be with the Leifson family with his love and comfort.
