Mark Olsen's Obituary
Mark Ervan Olsen a loving husband and father, 43, of Eagle Mountain, passed away on February 6th 2023.
Mark was born on May 6th 1979 to Elaine Peterson and David Olsen in Gunnison Utah. In 1999, he met Danna Jean Olsen and they wed in 2003, going on to have 2 children, Lucas James Olsen and Braden Wilde Olsen.
Mark was a very hard worker, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. Mark started framing when he was just 17 years old and spent his life building many things across northern Utah. As he and his family would drive through Salt Lake County and Utah County he would often point out a house or a building that he built and tell stories from that worksite. He took so much pride in his work.
Mark's family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Lucas, Braden, and Danna and always tried his best to support them. Mark was also passionate about many things in life including baseball, motorcycles, the outdoors, and spending time with his family. And could often be found riding his motorcycle, playing catch, or fishing with his family when he wasn’t at home.
Anyone who knew Mark knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Mark was predeceased by a brother Jason, grandparents Ervan and Jennie Lou Peterson, Kay, and Roberta Olsen. Mark is survived by his loving wife and sons, along with many other loving family members who were touched by his life.
