Mark Thomas' Obituary
Mark William Thomas, 55, passed away August 24, 2012 in Fruit Heights, UT. Born June 28, 1957 in Salt Lake City to Bill and Donna Thomas. Mark served a Spanish speaking mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Harrisburg, PA. He married Virginia Salazar in the Salt Lake temple in 1980. Mark worked in the grocery business for more than 30 years and took great pride in perfecting his produce department. He worked tirelessly to better the produce industry in the area. Mark enjoyed playing many sports, and could easily be found on the golf course. He was a simple man who took great joy in watching his children play sports and participated with them often. He was a very kind and compassionate man and was dearly loved by his family and by those whom he associated with. Mark was a very determined and hard working man and made sure his family was always provided for. He is preceded in death by his father, and survived by his mother, three children, Brian (Tiffany), Brent and Jessica; four grandchildren, Parker, Jacob, Corbin and Makayla.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the Rock LDS Chapel, 25 South 200 East, Kaysville, Utah with a viewing prior to services from 9 am – 10:45 am. Interment at the Kaysville City Cemetery.
