Melanie and Markus - Our family is so grateful for your friendship. Markus has influenced each of our lives for good. His kindness will always be remembered. He was one of the first people Keegan met at church as he taught her as a Sunday School teacher. She remembers his funny laugh and always being so happy. We will always think of Markus as we sit and enjoy our patio that he helped Adam with. He taught Adam a new skill and so willingly loaned Adam his tools so he could work on this project. We couldn't have done it without Markus' help. Even up until the end, Markus was willing to help Zac as he had to write a medical school essay for the University of Utah about uncertainty as a patient. Markus knew better than anyone about uncertainty as he battled his cancer. Zac will be forever grateful for the experience of interviewing Markus and the perspective he gained from spending that evening with him. We have many cherished memories of Markus' generosity and helping us in so many ways. We will miss his smile and that twinkle in his eye. We feel so privileged to have known him. Thank you for your example of rekindled love and devotion. We love you, Markus, Melanie, Hilary, Olivia, Ashley and Masen.
Our continued love and prayers to your family - Monica & Adam Smith and Family.
