Marsha Rae Turner's Obituary
Marsha Rae Turner was born on August 23, 1947, to Aura Marie Bain and Kendall Stanley
Turner, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marsha was a very kind and honest woman with so many
stories to tell. After high school, she served in the US Army Reserve, where she attained the
rank of Sargeant. She enjoyed a long career at Hill Air Force Base and retired after 30 years.
A long-time Ogden resident, she enjoyed the fellowship at the Genesis Project, where she
made dear friends. She loved talking about her family and sharing the adventures that she
had been on. Marsha, who passed away of natural causes, is survived by her half-sister,
Edna Geraldine Schooley; sister-in-law Zora Studer; the following nieces and nephews:
Doug Schooley, Patrice Powell, Shelley Studer Elliott, Lynn Studer Seitz, Brenda Studer
Dutton, and Wayne Sharp; and her beloved dog, Ava. She was preceded in death by her
parents and her siblings William Studer and Peggy Turner Sharpe. A Celebration of Life will
be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Genesis Project,
3525 Riverdale Road, Ogden, Utah.
