Martin Lee Stephens' Obituary
Martin Lee Stephens is survived by his brother Leonard and three children Quaid, Dakota and Mariah. He is preceded in death by his mother and father. Martin was a funny, creative, loving man. His work as a tile setter gave him a daily creative outlet. As a highly skilled craftsman with over 30 years of experience he had work in several award winning homes.
Martin possessed many creative talents. He had a gift of cooking without a recipe that always turned into a delicious creation. He also filled his time drawing and handcrafting furniture. He dabbled in building his own stereo systems and whenever he could he enjoyed and shared his love of music with all of his children.
His love for the outdoors grew from childhood and many summers spent in the mountains of Idaho, specifically his father’s home in Hayley and the Sawtooth Wilderness. The family would travel to Pettit Lake every year to camp in the surrounding nature. With his love of the outdoors in mind, his family will spread his remains in areas that he enjoyed visiting.
His love, light and laughter that he brought into this world will be greatly missed. The memorial service will be held in the summer so that all of his family can be together when remembering him.
