Marva F. Brown's Obituary
Marva Fitzgerald Brown
Marva was born on Feb. 25, 1932 and passed away at her home on Aug. 6, 2017. She died with dignity and class just as she lived her life.
She married Cordell "Butch" Brown on July 14, 1953 and together they had one son, Michael J. Brown.
Marva graduated from Jordan High School in 1950 and went on to pursue her degree in Education at USU from which she graduated in 1954.
She was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority and taught school in the Nevada School Districts for 20 years. In the last 2 years before she retired she taught in the Wasatch School District.
Marva is survived by her son Mike (Erin) Brown, grandson Shane (Ashlee) Brown, 2 great-granddaughters Finnley and Berkley, along with her best friend and companion, twin sister Marcia Hilton (Heber, UT); brother, James Fitzgerald; sister, Pat Cutler and brother, Warren Fitzgerald. Preceded in death by her husband, Cordell "Butch" Brown and both her mother, Eva Fitzgerald and father, L.W. Fitzgerald; brothers, Leland, Boyd, Jackson & Riley and sisters, Deane & Doris.
The family would like to extend special thanks to K. Dawn the private home health caregiver who took special care of our Mother the last 8 months of her life and to Scott Valgardson N.P. for all his care and attention given during her time of need.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. on August 21st, 2017 at the Draper City Cemetery, 12441 South 900 East, Draper, Utah. Arrangements under the care of Premier Funeral Services.
