Mary Affleck 1929-2024
Mary Affleck – beloved wife, mother, grandma and sister passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024. Mom was born March 23, 1929, in Copperton, Utah to Sam and Mary Theresa Pulli Divino.
She married Joseph Heber Oakey (deceased 1964). Together they had two sons, Wally and Joe. She later married the love of her life Andrew Affleck (deceased 2023). Together they had one son, Jason Andrew Affleck (deceased 2017).
Mary was a homemaker and very proud of her family. She loved cooking, camping, fishing and Wendover!! She volunteered at the Bountiful City Senior Center for many years and received the President’s Volunteer Service Award of which she was very proud.
She was a member of St. Olaf’s Catholic Church. Her faith was important to her.
Mary is survived by her sons Wally and Joe (Janette); grandchildren Ty, Chad, Natalie (Jeremy) and Michelle (Steve); great-grandchildren Bella, Carter, Tessa, Tanner and Knox. Preceded in death by Joseph Oakley (husband), Andrew Affleck (husband) and Jason Affleck (son).
Rest in peace Mom. Until we meet again.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Robintino's of Bountiful 1385 South 500 West, Bountiful, Utah.
