Mary Alice Waid Baum
Our dear and loving mother passed away peacefully on December 24, 2016 surrounded by her family. She now rests until the Lord’s return.
Mary was born January 29, 1931 to Lyle Earl and Mary Ann Waid. She was born and raised in Provo, where she also attended school. She married Blaine Orville Baum on June 1, 1948. She was a member of the Provo Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was a dedicated and loving mother that always put her family first. Her journey has come to an end and her family will greatly miss her.
Mary is survived by her six children, Brenda Ehl, Cindy (Don) Pace, Jeff (Michelle) Baum, James Baum, Michelle (Kevin) James, Steve (Jill) Baum; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Dave (Beverly) Waid, and nephew, Jim (Susan) Brewer.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, 2017, 12:00 noon at the Provo Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 255 So. 700 E. Provo. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment at the Provo City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Food & Care Coalition.
