Our mother, Mary Anna (Kroeger) Devlin (79), was called to heaven on July 8, 2026 in Gunnison, Utah, after battling cancer for nearly a decade. She was born to Earl and Helen (Butler) Kroeger on May 3, 1947 in Ogden, Utah. As the Read Obituary
I was working with Mary in primary when she got her diagnosis. She had a good attitude about it. She said you have to learn to, "Roll with the waves," and that has stuck with me. She definitely magnified her calling. She worked hard and had fun with the kids. She was a fun person to talk to, and I'm sad that she's gone. I am sorry you lost her, and happy for her that she doesn't have to live in that body anymore, and that she feels good now.
We have moved from the Ogden area and I am sorry I cannot be there to give my condolences in person. I am a first cousin of Helen. Mary was near my age and I remember loving to visit with her when we visited with Helen and Earl or if Aunt Mary came to town and they would come and visit us. Rudy and Afton Van Kampen are my parents. As we got older, I would sometimes see her in her role as a nurse and knew that whoever I was with would be in good care if she was nearby.
She was a great person, and I know she is loved and will be missed a lot by those who are left behind. My deepest sympathy to all of her family.

What a warrior! When my sister and I would see her at chemo, they would sit and visit a bit. She was always so kind. I will miss seeing her at our monthly DUP meetings. My heart goes out to all of her family! I'm heartbroken for you, but I'm happy that she is out of pain. God bless...
