Mary J. Dunn's Obituary
Our beloved wife and mother Mary Jewell Goates Dunn born to Rose and Elijah Goates on March 23, 1928, in Provo, Utah, passed away peacefully at home on May 4, 2011. She married Basil H. Dunn October 3, 1949 in the Salt Lake City Temple. They have six children: Rosemary (Hyrum) Mead, Conrad (Jan) Dunn, Cassandra Dunn, Julie (James) Hill, Madeleine (Dennis) Swapp, and Jonathan Dunn. They have seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son: Michael Elijah; two sisters: Barbara Rose Goates, and Dorothy (Quinn) Hatch; and one brother Grant (Dorothy) Goates. She loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ and had many callings in the Church organizations. Her most precious treasure was her family to whom she always devoted her love and life. Services will be held in the Sunset Hills First Ward 949 N. 540 W. American Fork on Monday May 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call prior to the funeral 9:45 to 10:45 and on the previous evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
