I remember how much work, and joy, that she put in producing family histories for her family each Christmas. It was indeed a gift of love! I'll never forget the story she shared with me about her birth DAY. She was born on June 6. That is a day we all know as D-Day, but as Diane was growing up, she always thought that D-Day was a celebration of her birthday. I'm sure she was disappointed knowing that it wasn't about her. Diane, was my coordinating teacher, when I started teaching at Midvalley. She was a great example of love and concern for each student. She taught me many things I used in my own classroom over the years. We taught second and first grade together for many years. We became very good friends. I will miss our phone calls. She is a great example of the church and what a Christian is. The world has lost a great example of love and concern for all. Prayers and hugs to her family at this time.
