Mary Hunt Puckett's Obituary
Mary Hunt Puckett, age 90, of Niceville Florida, passed away on July 29, 2020. Mary was born in 1930 to the later Charles Carter Hunt and Mattie May (Venable) Hunt, in Rome, Georgia. Mary graduated from Calhoun High School, in Calhoun Georgia, and then from the University of Georgia with a degree in Education. In 1955, she married William E. Puckett and they celebrated 63 years of marriage together. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William E. Puckett, son, David Carter Puckett and brother, Douglas Hunt. She is survived by son, William E. Puckett, Jr., daughters Kelly Collins (Doug), and Cindy Orvedahl (Dale), daughter-in- law Elizabeth Reddy Puckett (David) and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Hunt (Douglas). She also leaves behind her 8 grandchildren; Warren Puckett (Sarah), Mary Puckett, Katherine Campbell, Kayla Nutt (Ellis), Helen Larsen (Ethan), Margaret Williams (Jason), Allison Parsell (Keaton), William Puckett (Kelly) and 5 Great Grandchildren.
