Mary Elaine Russo's Obituary
Mary Elaine Russo, 77 Passed peacefully in her sleep the evening of Nov 23rd after gathering her family at her home for Thanksgiving. Born to Sam and Lucille Russo, in Omaha, Neb. on December 31st, 1940. She was known as Mary Lake during the years she had her four children Tony, Bob, Kathy and Kris who all survive her. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She spent her entire adult career in the photo finishing industry. She enjoyed all the people she worked with at Aardvark and Sons, Qualex, Sun Photo and Fuji (where she was known as Mary Grundeland). After that industry came to an end, she enjoyed working with the foodies at Costco handing out samples.
Mary was a very loving and giving Mother, Grandmother and Nonna. All who knew her say she was there for them any time they needed. She truly enjoyed making her home and yard a place of beauty. What a beautiful lady she was.
A celebration of her life will be held at Aspen Landing, 6388 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT on Saturday Dec. 1st between 5 and 10pm.
When we count our many blessings
It isn’t hard to see
That life’s most valued treasures
Are the treasures that are free.
For it isn’t what we own or buy
That signifies our wealth,
It’s the special gifts that have no price-
Our family, friends, and health
