MaryAnn Earl's Obituary
MaryAnn Earl, 81, of Springville, Utah passed away on the 22nd of January 2022. She was born to parents Edward and Zola McFadden, on May 13, 1940 in Provo, Utah.
MaryAnn married John Richins and together they had 5 wonderful sons. They were later divorced and she met the love of her life Jim Earl. Together they lived a wonderful life.
MaryAnn worked for Stouffers for 30 years where she made many lifelong friends that she cherished deeply. To MaryAnn her friends were also her family. You all were very special to her.
MaryAnn loved to be surrounded by her friends and family, her door was always open to all who needed a friend. Thanksgiving was often a celebration that included any holiday “orphan” that did not have a family to share it with. You never left her house hungry.
If you’ve ever played a game with MaryAnn you know she was a vibrant spirit with a competitive streak a mile wide; family water fights were a frequent occurrence both outside and inside the house! If MaryAnn was not at home, she would most likely be shopping. She truly loved the hunt for a bargain and the trunk of her car could prove that. She loved animals, and never met a dog, cat or horse that she didn’t love and would love her right back.
She was full of life and love and she will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
MaryAnn is survived by her children Scot, Shawn (Wendy), Brad, Cory (Ed), her 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Zola, her husband Jim, and her son Brandon. We know they had a beautiful reunion and find comfort knowing she is with so many loved ones.
In lieu of traditional services, a celebration of her life will be held in March. At that time a graveside service will also be held at the Provo City Cemetery. If you wish to honor Maryann, kiss a baby, plant some flowers, adopt an animal, go shopping with a friend or hug someone very tightly. Pay forward the love that MaryAnn gave you!
