MaryLou Mohler Raymond
1925-2023
Sandy, Utah—Our beloved Mom, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, greatgrandmother, great-great grandmother and friend passed away July 5, 2023 at home with her family around her, at the age of 97. MaryLou was born in Des Moines, Iowa on July 14, 1925 to David Casper Mohler and Mary Catherine Allison Mohler. She was the 13th child of 13. She married the love of her life Jack Glenn Raymond in 1946. Jack is deceased March 5, 2021, and MaryLou is survived by all six of their children: Thomas (Bev), Linda (Chan Funk), David (Joan), Patricia (Don Iverson Nov 9, 2021D), Tina Raymond, Cindy Bailey.
Also 14 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She will be sorely missed, and fondly remembered by a multitude of family and friends.
MaryLou volunteered at the National Arthritis Foundation, Salt Lake County Library, Northern Utah Horseshoe Pitchers Association, and belonged to a Quilting sewing club. A member of the Naval Womens Auxiliary group.
She beat breast cancer twice in her life.
A celebration of life will take place next year in June, 2024.
