Mathew Blake Walling's Obituary
With deep sorrow in our hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Matt on January 14, 2026.
Born December 28, 1973, in Tempe, Arizona, he grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, where he participated in and excelled at many school sports and church activities. He loved music, the outdoors, and being surrounded by people he cared about.
He spent his final years in Lehi, Utah, with two of his brothers, where he built a deep bond of brotherhood and partnership, facing life’s challenges together. He left a legacy of love wherever he went, touching every life he encountered, making them feel important and loved.
He was preceded in death by his father, Martin, and his brother, Aaron. He is survived by his mother, Susette, and his five siblings: Craig, Emily Schmidt, Chad, Joe, and Todd.
He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity, which left a lasting imprint on all who knew him. He truly made this world a better place. His memory and inspiration will always remain with us.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers and requests privacy as they navigate this time of grief.
