Matthew Conley Bias' Obituary
Just days prior to Faye’s death, her youngest son, Matthew, suddenly passed away. His already ill mother was brought even lower with grief. It is fitting that Faye will be greeted by Matt, Bob, Walter and David. As a child Matt loved playing with his friends and family. It would be an understatement to say that he was a mischievous boy. More than once his aunt Shelly or his mother was called to take Matt home from school after some silly prank. Matt loved life, and he had many friends. He was respectful and kind to others. It was with great sorrow that Matt was struck by a car while biking, and was never able to walk again. Nevertheless, he continued his education and graduated from high school. He carried on physically wherever he could, and loved scouting and rafting. He enjoyed computers and spending time with his friends and brothers. In his last years Matt was beset with a number of serious health issues which finally took his life. He will be missed; however, it is certain that he and his mother are running side by side, having been released from the physical pain and limitations during their sojourn here. A funeral service was held honoring Matthew on November 1, 2012 in the Kearns 10th Ward Chapel at 10:00am. Interment will be at the Elysian gardens Cemetery located at 1075 East 4580 South in Murray, Utah. The Dedication of the grave will be by Thomas Miller.
