Matthew Chamberlain's Obituary
Matthew Chamberlain passed away March 20th, 2025. He was born on May 17th, 1983 to Greg J and Heidi Jorgensen Chamberlain.
Matt attended Bates Elementary, North Ogden Jr High, and graduated from Weber High School in 2001.
One of Matt’s proudest accomplishments was getting his EMT and Firefighter certifications. He worked for Northview Fire Department and Weber Fire District. After leaving emergency services, he held various jobs that he enjoyed.
Matt was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. This helped form his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, snowmobiling, and riding ATV’s.
Matt was always ready for any adventure. He enjoyed many adventures with our parents. Oftentimes he had the camp trailer hooked up, loaded and ready to go long before anyone else was ready. He enjoyed spending time in the Uinta’s with Dad.
Matt loved to travel and had traveled to six countries. He was fortunate enough to live in New Zealand for a year. Matt had many stories about New Zealand that he would share every chance he got.
Matt cared deeply about people. He was protective of his family and friends. He would do anything for anyone. He was very reliable and we knew if we needed anything, he would be there without hesitation.
Matt was preceded in death by his Mom, both sets of grandparents, two aunts and two uncles. He is survived by his Dad, his siblings Michelle (Renee) Martinez, Jenny (Evan) Price and Ryan Chamberlain. He is also survived by his favorite nieces and nephews; Austin, Jakob, Cameron and Caitlyn Worley, Spencer and Cole Price, and Kenzie Chamberlain. Matt also has aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him.
The family would like to thank the Ogden City First Responders, the staff at McKay Dee Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit and the Donor Connect team.
