Matt grew up in Placerville, California and lived in Northern California and moved to the Salt Lake City area where he has resided since.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Matt Lichty, a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Son and Friend. Matt, 41, passed away September 22, 2023, leaving those who knew him with cherished memories of joy, laughter, and caring for those in need.
Matt had an unwavering commitment of bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He had a knack to brighten the room with his jokes and lighthearted spirit. He was a natural storyteller and would have his audience enthralled with interest. He loved helping those in need and was always willing to go the extra mile for those that needed his help.
Matt leaves behind a large network of friends. Matt is survived by his Mother Kathy Seed and Father Dennis Lichty. Brothers: Tanner, Benjamin, and Joshua. His wife Fang, and two children Billy and Dollie. Matthew will be missed by many!
Matt spent the past 20 years working in construction on heavy civil engineering projects and was an expert in Project Management and Estimating.
In this time of grief, we ask that you remember the joy he shared and the love he gave. Rest in peace, Matt.
