To Matthew's Family, I've just learned tonight of Matt's passing from this earth. I'm so saddened. I've known Matthew since he was 14-years-old. It's so rare that one knows a soul so accepting of people, and of life. Matthew was that soul. I had the opportunity to know Matt in his adulthood. At a birthday party for my grandson, I remember watching him with Sophie on his shoulders, loving life, so happy...I miss him now so dearly. This world became less special when he left.

My deepest sympathy for all of Matthew's family. We worked together for over 10 years. He spoke of his family often and always with love. He was especially proud of his sweet daughter, Sonja. She was the light of his life. Matthew is going to be missed so much. He was absolutely brilliant. The world is now a little less bright, but Matthew's spirit will remain in all of our hearts.
