Matthias Jeffrey Palmer's Obituary
Matthias Jeffery Palmer quietly passed away on August 21, 2022 in Eagle Mountain, Utah. He was born on September 22, 2006 to Joseph and Melissa (Haycock) Palmer. He was the best little brother to his sister, Aftyn.
Matthias was born with a condition called Cortical Dysplasia- the left side of his brain did not develop properly. His medical prognosis and quality of life predicted prior to his birth was bleak but he rocked this world nonetheless. Matthias defied all of the odds. He proved to everyone that there are miracles and that you can accomplish anything.
Matthias was a light. He was the coolest kid you ever met, he always made some joke when we were all sad; he knew how to make people laugh. Eveytime Aftyn was laughing he would always say a specific and stupid joke and she would laugh even harder. He always made sure to get Aftyn something every time Matthias and Mom went shopping.
Matthias was interested in everything. He loved history, science, theater, Legos, video games, anime and recently started boxing. Matthias had a unique artistic sensibility.
A celebration of Matthias’s life will be held August 27th, 2022 at 10 AM; at the LDS Chapel - 8273 Simpsons Springs Rd.Eagle Mountain, Utah. All are invited to attend.
