Maxine Pope's Obituary
Rosannah Maxine Pope, 82, of Salt Lake City, formally of St. George, died on Saturday, February 8, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.Maxine was born on June 14, 1931 to Olive Walker and Hardy Bowman. She was raised and educated in St. George and graduated from St. George High School. She married Earl Hansen in St. George, UT; they were married from 1953 to 1961. She later married Robert Pope in Las Vegas, NV; they were married from 1963 to 1987. Maxine enjoyed working as a homemaker and in the retail business. She loved to sew, to read and loved to spend a lot of time caring for others, her mother, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Maxine is survived by her children, Linda (Sterling); Christine (Rick); Patty; Craig (Paulette); and Gayelynn (Val); 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the St. George City Cemtery, 700 E Tabernacle.
