Gabrielle Gillis
My name is Gabrielle, I was one of Melvin's caregivers since the first day he came to us. I absolutely adored Mel ever since I met him. He shared some amazing stories to me from his past and that's when he told me he helped produce some big movies like Big Country. My dad and I love old westerns and we ended up finding a copy of the original and we gave it to Mel. I spent an afternoon with him watching this movie and some others, and it was truly special. I happened to be working on shift when he passed and got to share some of his last minutes with him as we said goodbye. He is such an extraordinary man and am blessed to have had his family share him with us here at Sunridge. To Mel's family, you guys are in my thoughts and prayers.
