Merl "Red" Raymond Hooser's Obituary
Merl "Red" Raymond Hooser, 65, born on November 4, 1959, to Merl and Marie Hooser, passed away on July 28, 2025, in Murray, Utah. Merl was an avid hunter and fisherman, but he loved riding his motorcycle. He has been on a bike since he could drive; he was known to even ride in the winter if conditions were good enough.
Merl was kind and loving, and his laugh was contagious. If he was laughing, everyone around him was too. He loved his family and would do anything to be around his girls as much as he could. Merl is survived by his four daughters, Shylo Hooser (Shane Peterson), Shantele Kofoed (Trinity Kofoed), Mckenzie Davis (Matt Davis), and Alisha Rich. His grandchildren, Raymond Haslam, Willow Roundtree (Alan Roundtree), Suzzie Kofoed, Leo Kofoed, Logan Davis, Linkin Davis, Kimberlin Davis, Courtney Peterson (Jared Erb), Colby Peterson (Crystal Peterson) Brooke Peterson (Jereme Steinman). He was also very blessed with 7 great-grandchildren.
