Michael James Carson's Obituary
Michael James Carson, son of Gary Chad and Lynnelle Grant Carson passed away at age 21, Wednesday, May 8th. He lived in Ogden, Utah with his family.
Michael was an Eagle Scout and a black belt in Taekwondo. He hated doing “forms” of Taekwondo but loved the “sparring.” The only thing he hated about winning was making his opponent feel sad. He would lie and tell them that the score was real close when usually he had creamed them. He graduated from Ogden High in 2016 though his senior year was full time at Weber State doing Early College. He was in the process of getting a bachelor’s in MIS at Weber State. He had many friends at Weber State where he worked. Michael was truly cherished as part of the WSU FM family. Michael had a passion for gaming and was very dedicated to honing his skills to be one of the best – which he was. He began gaming with his older brother, Benjamin, when he was just four. He quickly joined the ranks of playing with the big boys. Ben was always his favorite sibling. They had a sweet connection which is continuing right now in heaven. Although he was always great at whatever he did, he had the most tender of hearts, and couldn’t see hurting anyone (unless it was gaming – he’d crush you then). He liked to use music and writing to convey what he felt he couldn’t through his spoken words.
Michael we miss you SO much!!
Michael is survived by his parents Chad and Lynnelle Carson and his four sisters Chelsea Carson, Kenzie (Colby) Latamondeer, Kaitlyn Peterson and Sydney Carson and a cat he rescued (begged to keep), Oliver who just like him, loves with all his heart. He is also survived by his Grandparents Gary and LouAnn Carson and Ruth Grant and lots of Aunts, Uncles, Counsins and one nephew Hunter and one niece Brooklynn. He was proceeded in death by his older brother Benjamin Carson and grandfather Lee Grant.
There will be a viewing held from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm Monday, May 13, 2019, at the Church on 1401 Country Hills Dr, Ogden, UT 84403.
