Michael Todd Christensen's Obituary
Michael Todd Christensen passed away peacefully on June 2nd, 2024.
Born March 30th, 1962 to Bonnie Jean West Koerner and Michael Don Christensen in Salt Lake City Utah.
Todd is survived by his brother Kendall Eugene West, Steven Trent West, Kristi Leigh Koerner, Willam Caleb Koerner and half-brother Steven Michael Christensen. Todd was preceded in death by his mother Bonnie, father Mike, step-father William Emil Koerner and sister Camille Naomie Koerner.
Though Todd spent a majority of his life in Salt Lake City, Utah, outside of a number of years growing up in Pinesdale, Montana, but he always considered Montana his home. There he grew up with numerous other step siblings. Todd was also close with his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Todd was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through all of his life experiences: construction, cooking, playing pool, fishing and being in the outdoors.
He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before him. He will be missed dearly.
In typical Todd fashion, there are no services planned, certainly no pomp and circumstance. A Celebration of Life will occur in Pinesdale, Montana on June 29th, 2024, where in honor of his final wishes, his remains will be spread in Millcreek and empty into the Bitterroot River. A Celebration of Life will also be done in Salt Lake City, Utah with details yet to be determined
