In 1971, with our first baby, we contacted several LDS wards in New Jersey for possible apartments near the PATH commuter train so Wayne could go into NYU where he was a graduate student. Only Michael Hunter answered our inquiry. He even found us an apartment, picked us up from the airport, and he and Becky let us live with them for a week before the apartment was available. Sorry to hear of the passing of such a fine man.
Sincerest condolences to the Hunter family. Uncle Mike will be missed.
Much Love The Albertsen's

I have many fond memories of Brother Hunter. I am very sad for his family that he has left behind. He has left a beautiful legacy. I send my love and prayers in this difficult time.
I was one of many who was blessed by the love, leadership, and counsel of Bishop Hunter in the Columbia Ward days in Virginia. What a good man he was, and an example to so many of us!
