Michelle Dixon Garcia's Obituary
Our loving Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sister and Daughter; Michelle returned to our Heavenly Father after a long, courageous battle with Lupus. She passed on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, while surrounded by her family. She was born in Provo, Utah on September 21, 1961 to her loving parents Douglas and Helen Dixon. Michelle was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended school in Provo and Payson.
As a child she loved spending her summers on their family farm in Canada. Michelle was at her happiest when she was surrounded by her family and thought the world of her grandchildren. She worked as a caregiver and loved the individuals like family. She will be remembered for her gentle and loving ways.
Michelle is survived by her loving husband, Gabino Garcia of Orem; parents, Douglas and Helen Dixon of Springville; sister, Karen (Mark) Bjarnson of Orem; brother, Kurt Dixon of Springville; four children: Crystal Belback of Las Vegas, David Belback of Draper, Doug (Melissa) Belback of St. George and Lisa (Brandon) Mills of Orem, and 10 grandchildren. She is now with her younger brother and dearest friend Todd Dixon. Be our guiding angels until we meet again.
Funeral services will be held at 50 South 800 East Orem, Utah 84097 on Saturday, October 19, 2013. The viewing will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am followed by funeral services. A luncheon will follow the grave side services.
