Michiyo Mori Aoki's Obituary
Married to Tadashi (Tad) Aoki December 14, 1944. Survived by daughters Sandra (Chris), Janis (Wade), Joi, Rita, son Gary (Barbara), grandsons: Brandon (Arika) , Christian (Tara) , Justin (Abbey) , Jordan (Chloe) , granddaughters Donnielle (Jonathan) , Corinne , great grandsons Taylor (Miranda) , MacKenzie , Nixon , Tait , great granddaughter Riley .
Michiyo (Mich) was born in Wendover, Utah. After marrying Tad, Mich spent many years caring for several remaining siblings of Tad’s as he was left responsible for their care after both his parents passed away at an early age. Mich worked very hard during those days and spoke of them often. In 1952 Kiyoe, Mich’s older sister, introduced her to a wonderful hope through the study of the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses. From that time on, Mich’s endeavor was to pass this knowledge onto her loved ones and others and this was her greatest hope that they would embrace it like she did.
Mich was somewhat of a tomboy growing up and could outrun a lot of boys. She was a highly skilled seamstress and produced beautiful knitting projects which she loved to pass onto her grandchildren. Mich had a wonderful sense of humor and was so much fun to tease. It goes without saying that Mich was movie-star beautiful, yet quite shy and unassuming about it. She will be sorely missed by family and friends but we look so forward to seeing her again with the hope she held to so dearly. Online condolences www.premierfuneral.com
