Sherrell Wallace
Daughter-in-law, Sherrell Wallace. I’ll miss and love Minnie Lee very much. Madear the name we gave her, resignated with all the family members. The two most fond memories of mine are when it came to saying my name she could never say it correct. She would always say “Shell” instead of Sherrell. I guess she thought I looked like a shell. It was always so funny to me because she enjoyed doing it. My other fond memory was Minnie Lee always asked me to buy makeup for her. She would tell me the exact color. She loved wearing makeup even when she became very ill. I knew this, so I took the time to find exactly what she wanted. She would thank me then a week or so later she would hint about me sending her more. I think she wore makeup day and night (smile). I thank God for blessing me to do this for her, and to put a smile on her face. May you Rest In Peace now Madear with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
