Monica Marie Nosack Goaslind's Obituary
With a heavy heart, I announce the passing of my loving daughter, Monica Marie Nosack Goaslind, 50, on August 10, 2024. Lovingly holding her brother’s hand, she peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father after bravely battling kidney disease.
Monica was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, granddaughter, and friend.
Born on August 23, 1973, in Garden Grove, California, to Wallace Nosack and Janet Erickson Torkelson, she moved to Utah in 1976 and graduated from Woods Cross High class of 1992.
She loved dancing, singing, and attending movies with her family and friends.
Halloween was her favorite time of the year. She loved everything about it, often dressing up in different costumes.
Monica enjoyed spending time with her many nieces and nephews, watching Disney movies, and sharing her rose garden with them.
She worked at Dick’s Market in Centerville, Utah, for 23 years, cherishing her many customers.
Monica met, fell in love and married Todd Goaslind, they were sealed in the Bountiful Utah Temple on November 1, 1997, for time and all eternity.
Left to remember her exceptional life is her husband Todd Goaslind, Mother Janet Erickson Torkelson, stepfather Robert Torkelson, brothers Darryl (Susan) Erickson and Terry Nosack, and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, uncle, and grand-nephew.
We will always carry her memory in our hearts.
We thank the South Davis Firefighters and Intermountain Hospice for their care.
All are welcome to honor Monica’s life on Saturday August 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Center, 2064 South 800 West, Woods Cross, Utah.
