Steve Hicken
Lee Hammond is one of those rare people that I feel was a privilege to call a friend. Lee lived his life as a disciple of the Savior. His knowledge of the gospel was always impressive and I loved to hear him speak or teach. But what made it powerful was the way he lived his life. He completely lived what he taught. Truly, I believe he was like Nathaniel, 'a man in whom there was no guile'. He will be missed by his family and all who know him. However, his talents are now being put to use in a much larger arena, where multitudes of people will be inspired by his testimony of Jesus Christ as he gathers Israel on the other side of the veil.

Thank you, Kaye and family, for sharing your remarkable husband and father with the rest of us. We appreciate not only his example, but yours. Lee was certainly equally yoked with a dear companion who mirrored his same qualities. I remember how often I heard the both of you refer to each other as "my eternal companion." So true! Till that coming day, you have love and prayers from all who know you.
