Morris Joseph Peterson “Little Joe"
On Wednesday December 26 2018 Morris Joseph Peterson “Little Joe" passed away peacefully at the age of 75. Joe was born April 28th 1943 in Provo Utah.
He was the son of Morris Lister Peterson and Erma Bingham. He had 3 sisters Midge (Reed) Street, Linda (Kenneth) Pierce and Gloria (Robert) Livingston and 2 Brothers Donald and Jimmy. Joe also had 2 half Sisters Shellie Peterson and Kerrie Peterson and 1 half-brother Shane (Donna) Peterson.
Joe grew up and lived in Utah county areas and his hobbies included Boxing, body building, hunting, fishing, camping and cars especially Corvettes. He made many friends over the years and some he still had up until his death. Joe was married and divorced 5 different women – Loretta, Jeannie, Sherry, Carolyn and Shirley. Joe fathered many children some of which we’ll list here Jolene, Jody (Lisa) Peterson, Sharmelle (Paul) Wittsell, Aren Peterson, step daughter Carrie Fidler, Chad (Jesica) Peterson, Brandon Peterson and Dustin Peterson. He had many grandchildren great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by his parents, his son Jody his sister Midge, his brother in law Kenneth and his half-brother Shane.
We would like to thank his CNA Lisa at the Spanish Fork Nursing Home for her compassion and kindness and for being so sweet to him. You gave him the dignity he deserved when others wouldn’t and took the time to sit with him and listen even when it was hard to understand what he was saying. Your excellent care did not go unnoticed by him or his daughter. I know you are special and I want you to know how wonderful it is to have someone like you taking care of our loved ones – you are an angel.
