Muriel Rosenbergen Leffert. Muriel was born on November 12, 1931 to Fred Rosenbergen and Helen Mae Everhart I n Manhattan, New York. She was married to John Emil Leffert Jr on September 10, 1949 in the Bronx. Dad passed away on November 11, 2016. They received their endowment and were sealed for time and all eternity in the St. George Temple in July of 1968.They had three children; John Emil Leffert III born October 11, 1950 who passed away 2 weeks after he was born, John Emil Leffert IV born on April 8, 1952 and Donna Marie Leffert Royce born on July 16 1956.She is survived by Helen her sister, 5 grandchildren, Katie, Sam, Tim, Mike, Kimberly and Karrissa. She has 10 great grandchildren, Tate, Shaye, Kallen, Brennen, Alyssa, Dominic, Amelie, Madison, Stephen and Aubrey. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. She was baptized on January 26, 1957. She held numerous callings within the Church. Her main love was serving with the Young Women for almost 11 years. Her las calling was Relief Society President at the age of 80 in a small branch in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. She loved doing genealogy and crocheting. She either did the temple work or submitted it to be done for almost 1000 relatives. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She finished her career working as the Office Administrator for the Dental school at State University of New York, Stony Brook. She passed away on December 29, 2023 in Roy, Utah. She will be buried at the Lindquist Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch on January 6, 2024.
Service to be held at the LDS Chapel at 4900 S 2000 W in Roy UT on January 6, 2024 Viewing begins at 9am and service at 11am.
