Myrna Nayon Brimhall
1936 - 2022
Devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Myrna Nayon Brimhall, 85, died peacefully on January 22, 2022 surrounded by family. Nayon was born December 2, 1936 in Vernal, Utah. She married the love of her life Kermit Eugene Brimhall on November 10, 1954. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They were married for more than 50 years when Kerm passed away in 2005.
Nayon is survived by 6 children, Jeri, South Weber; Jane, Salt Lake City; Joseph (Ami), Camas, Washington; Jeff (Kellie), Lake Town; Brent, Seattle, Washington; and Tami, Oklahoma; and many, many grand, great-grand, and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Idella and Hyrum; siblings, Wilma, Erma, Venis, Enid, Wayne, Lela, Larry; daughter-in-law, Carrie; and grandchildren, Benjamin and Casey.
Nayon loved her family very much and was loved by all. She will be remembered for her dedicated homemaking, amazing creativity, expansive crafting collection, witty sense of humor, and her peanut butter sandwiches made on delicious homemade bread. Nayon understood the meaning and value of hard work and instilled the importance of it to her children.
We would like to thank Fairfield Village for the excellent, loving care they gave to Nayon. She cherished and grew many friendships at Fairfield Village that made her time there enjoyable. Also, the care from Encompass was excellent and we are grateful especially for Angie and Tami.
A celebration of her life will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, Monday, January 24th, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints meeting house at 151 N 1000 W, Clearfield, UT.
