N. Ruth Dowdy's Obituary
Ruth passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on Easter Sunday April 8, 2012 in SLC, Utah. She was born on January 22, 1934 in Battle Mountain, NV to Joseph and Henrietta Walker Farnworth.
She loved to sew, crochet and the color pink. She was a hairstylist for many years that brought her lots of joy.
Married Bryant Roberts (divorced) three children Carolyn, Jack, and Joel . Later married Art Dowdy. Survived by 4 brothers and 4 sisters, Sonny(Marge) Farnworth NM; Gail Farnworth ID; Carl (Kay) Farnworth UT; Bob (Betty) Farnworth UT; Rhoda (Jack) Port; Ruby Hansen; June Jackman; and Rose (Jerry) Cleverley, all of ID, many Nieces, Nephews, and Grandchildren. Proceeded in death by her parents, and sister Lola Young.
We would like to express our appreciation to Woodland Park Care Center and Bristol Hospice for the wonderful care they gave her.
A Funeral will be held on Saturday April 14, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at the LDS Church at 5785 S. 2700 W. A viewing will be held from 11:00-11:45 A.M. prior to services. Graveside services to be held immediately after services at Bountiful Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. Bountiful, Utah.
