Nan Rae Seager Greenland's Obituary
Nan Seager Greenland born May 19, 1931 in the Holy Cross Hospital. Being the fifth, and last child of Catherine Phillips and William Lloyd Seager.
Married Charles Edward Greenland Jr. in July 1951, who passed March 24, 2011. They shared many wonderful life experiences together.
Nan was the mother of 5 Children, Stevie (Al), Bill, Jo Marie (Alan), Leslie (Randy), and Jake (Monique). Grandmother of Josh Powers, Amanda Powers, Stuart Teel, Kelsey Teel, Jamie Greenland, Daniel Greenland, Jeff White, Gavin White, Bremen Lavin, Lindsey Jaynes, Jaden Greenland, Sydney Greenland. Great Grandmother of Adelynn, Jameson, Elliott, Charlie, Cameron, Avian, Akaliea, Brocker, Karter, Skyler, Jaycie, Austin, and preceded in death by Kalli White.
Nan graduated from South High School, and then took classes at the University of Utah.
Nan was hired in 1961 with Western Airlines, then furloughed until 1968. During her career, Western Airlines was merged with Delta Airlines. There she retired after 31 years in 1993. She always loved and never dreaded going in to work where she had many wonderful friends and coworkers. During her 31 years with the Airlines, she worked in Germany and England. Most of her work at the Salt Lake City airport was in the Western Horizon Club and the Delta Crown Room.
Nan appreciated and loved all of the wonderful friends, neighbors and care givers who helped so much in the struggles she had at the end of her life.
