Nancy Carol Kelson's Obituary
Nancy Carol Kelson was reunited with her Heavenly Father on May 12, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Nancy was born on February 27th, 1939 in Salt Lake City, UT. Oldest daughter to Leola Bagshaw and Verland Lamar Peterson. She grew up in Lark, UT and later married Roger Kelson and had 5 children. Nancy worked for and retired after many years at Northrup Grumman. She found retired life wasn't for her, so she returned to the workforce and later retired for the second time from Bunnell. She was very independent, and after her husband passed, she devoted herself to her children and grandchildren. In her free time she loved crocheting, cross stitching, watching the Utah Jazz, whipping up new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time with her family. She loved trying new food, but always came back to Chinese and Mexican; however, her meal was never complete without a Sprite. She claimed she liked spicy food, but she often found cinnamon bears too spicy. She was a woman of little patience, which would be quite humorous to not only the family, but her. Nancy was incredibly giving and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She will be sorely missed on this Earth and will leave a lasting legacy on the souls she touched. She has been reunited with her oldest daughter, Cindy, and son, George. She leaves behind 3 children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, even great-great grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Her viewing will be held on Thursday, May 20th, 2021 from 10 – 12 pm at 8841 S. 4800 W. West Jordan, UT. Graveside services will be held at 1pm at Bluffdale Cemetery, 14229 S. Redwood Rd. Bluffdale, UT.
