I am a coworker of Nancy. We were on the same team. She was one of the sweetest and kindest people I have ever known. She was always smiling always positive. She was an example of how to be. I admired her greatly. She is greatly missed.
Nancy had such a kind heart and was such a good friend. I will always remember how much she loved her nieces and nephews and was such a part of their lives. I can remember her bringing her mother to church and her service to others.
Nancy was such a beautiful and kind friend. I enjoyed teaching Sunday School with her and learning so much about unconditional love and service. She was such a joy to be around and I will miss her smiling face.
Nancy was my sister in law’s sister in law. I had the pleasure of associating with her through the years as the families came together for birthdays, baby blessings, priesthood ordinations and funerals. Nancy was always there, supporting her family with quiet & kind strength. Her love and concern for her family, especially her sweet Mom, was inspiring. She truly loved others with her whole heart. She was always smiling and quick with a kind word. Nancy was an Angel on earth.
Nancy was a great example of kindness and humility. She had a very strong testimony of God and knew to do what is right. She served with me as a ministering servant decades ago and made a lasting impression on me of how not to judge others. She's an excellent Spirit and will be missed tremendously. She was a rare woman who fought to show kindness to others knowing this is sooo important. We can all honor her by striving to be kind and help others succeed and not judge others.
I was Nancy’s coworker and had the privilege of working on the same team with her a few years ago. She encouraged everyone to be their best, to be kind to one another. She always showed me kindness and compassion, and always made me feel welcome. She genuinely cared about other people. I’m grateful for the time I had to get to know her.
Sister Nancy Lund, and her mother, were my church primary teachers and primary choristers for a period of time growing up. I will always remember the love and effort they put into their service, even though we were mostly ungrateful and sometimes rather mean children. Primary singing time was always fun and you could tell they put a lot of effort into making each singing time special. I have a fond memory of our primary class being invited to their house for an activity that included eating lots of candy and turning plastic milk cartons into Valentines Day Boxes. I am saddened to hear of her passing and wish to express my deepest sympathy to her family.
I had the pleasure of being Nancy's co-worker. We started in the same training class and we were on many different teams together. We would always talk about how we we were the last ones remaining from our original training. Nancy was such an amazing, kind and wonderful person who always knew how to make us smile. She will truly be missed.
I played clarinet side by side Nancy our junior and senior years at Bountiful High School. In addition to being a gifted clarinetist, Nancy was also our marching band's baton twirler. Nancy won a Superior Twirling Award at the 1977 Davis Cup and earned a Certificate of Achievement for Outstanding Contribution to the Band Through Individual Musicianship in 1978. Both awards were well earned! I am honored to have known Nancy and felt her friendliness and good will.
