Naomi Goodsell Cameron's Obituary
Naomi Yvonne Goodsell Cameron, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Passed away of brain cancer on August 4, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born December 21, 1935 in Salt Lake City the second daughter of Evelyn Yvonne McGiven and Howard Goodsell. Married James Wallace Cameron January 25, 1958 in Bountiful, Utah, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Naomi graduated from Davis High School in 1955 and went on to achieve a degree in cosmetology. She was employed as a beautician and at Utah Paperbox Company. She held various positions in the LDS Church. Naomi loved spending time with her family, as they were her greatest joy. She also loved camping, fishing and traveling. She is survived by her husband, her son Karl (Lorraine) Cameron, daughters Kathy (Steve) Peterson and Linda Tucker (Pedro Mauri). One brother Richard (Patricia) Goodsell, sisters Evelyn (Harvey) Shell and Georjean (Daniel) Billingsley. She has seven wonderful grandchildren Jessica, Kurtis, Kimberly, Krista, Coralee, Kayla Koda and five precious great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and one grandson Brent. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Riverside 1st Ward, 1100 West 500 North, SLC, UT. A viewing will be held at the church Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and one hour prior to services. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South.
