Natalie Margaret Chapman Atkinson's Obituary
Natalie Margaret Chapman Atkinson, 47, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on February 12, 2018 in West Jordan, Utah. She was born July 9, 1970 to Brent and Margo Chapman in Salt Lake City. She married Shawn Atkinson on April 24, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Natalie was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved nothing more than to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to spend time at the family cabins, the time she could spend outdoors, riding four wheelers and snow mobiles, watching family fish, crocheting beautiful blankets, and reading her books. She loved all people that she came in contact with.
She is survived by her spouse, Shawn; children, Tyler (Marti), Mason (Dani), Autumn, Amber (Mint) Phillipps; grandchildren, Auralie, Annie, Michael, Thea and Ella; mother, Margo Chapman; sisters, Nikki (Greg) Jensen, Abbie (Shane) Roberts; grandparents, Earl and Dorothy Chapman; her in-laws, Jay and Carolyn Atkinson; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Brent Earl Chapman; uncle, Scott Chapman; grandparents, Jack and Miriam Leonard and LaRue Briggs Chapman Abel.
A viewing starting at 4:00 pm and memorial service for close family and friends starting at 6:00 pm will be held on February 16, 2018 at Calvary Chapel Salt Lake, 460 W. Century Dr. (4350 S), Salt Lake City, UT.
The family would like to thank Kim, Jessica and Linda from Aspire Home Health and Hospice. A special thanks to Pam Mills, a good friend, and other family members that helped her the last few months of her life.
