Nathan (Andy) A Moyes' Obituary
Nathan A. Moyes (Andy) 75 of Layton, Ut went to be with Jesus on October 16th. He passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loved ones.
Andy was born on December 17,1946 to Eldon and Juanita Moyes. Andy honorably served in the United States Army. After his dedicated service, he returned home and met the love of his life Evonne who he has been married to for 55 years. Together they had four children, Brent, Paul, Leonard, and Kimberly. Their family proceeded to grow with eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
While raising his family Andy spent forty-plus years as a Long-Haul Truck Driver. During his career he received many awards and accomplishments. After his retirement he worked with his oldest son Brent running their own Tree and Stump Company. Andy loved working with his son and would often take his grandchildren to work with him.
At age sixty-one Andy accomplished writing his very first book. He was very partial to Western Books and movies. He loved four-wheeling with his family and had an adventurous spirit. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and sarcasm. Andy was also famous for giving those he loved special nicknames. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
Andy is survived by his wife, four children, Paul, Brent, Leonard, and Kimberly; his grandchildren, Kristen, Jessica, Craig, Misty, Nathan, Mason, Aaron, and Mathew; his great grandchildren; Addison, Mandy, James, Rhiley, Maggie, and Callan. Andy is proceeded in death by; his parents, his brothers Harvey, and Bill; his grandson Brandon and his great grandchildren Lynal and Nova.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lake Side Community Church on October 22,2022 at 2pm Located at 1094 W. 1800 N. Clinton, Ut 84015
