Neil Roger Kalm's Obituary
Strength, perseverance, and a little humor. It’s not how we handle the good times, but how we handle the challenges life lays before us. Neil Roger Kalm faced his many challenges head on with a true fighter’s spirit. Diagnosed with diabetes at age 9, he was told he would not live past 19. He passed on March 7th, 2015 at the ripe age of 75; having lived a full life. His memory is a witness to all who knew him of defying the odds and never giving up. He was a car expert, a boxer, a deep thinker, a chess player, a fisherman, but most of all he was a father, a grandfather, and a husband. He met the love of his life Connie Clark and they were married in December 1968, and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. No love was greater in his heart than his love for his family. He fought, laughed, and persevered until the very end. Neil was survived by his wife Connie, his children, John, Bryan, David, and Lisa; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East, Lehi, Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Copper Hills 4th Ward, 5176 West Par Drive (8430 South) West Jordan, Utah.
