Nicholas Don Poulsen's Obituary
Nicholas Don Poulsen tragically passed away on July 16, 2021 at the age of 28. Nick was the youngest son born to Lori and Dan Poulsen on July 23, 1992.
After years of battling his demons, he is now at peace. Despite his pain in life, Nick continued to lift up those around him through his example of perseverance and genuine desire for recovery. Nick lived a life of adventure, passion, and always looked good doing it.
Nick dreamed of sharing his story, advocating for those who also suffered with the disease of addiction. He wanted his story to inspire others, to show hope for the future and recovery. Nick may not have lived to see this dream come to fruition, but those who knew him have the chance to keep his dream alive.
Nick is predeceased by his mother, Lori Poulsen, his Aunt and second mother, Lucinda Thorne. Nick leaves behind a remarkable son, Camden, whom he was working hard to reunite with. He is survived by his brothers, Andrew, Dallan, and Brandon, his father, Dan Poulsen, as well as many close friends and family members.
A viewing is scheduled from 2-3:30 pm followed by a funeral service at 3:30 pm on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Premier Funeral Services 67 East 8000 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84047. Followed by a memorial potluck gathering at 5 pm, held at High Point Park 7885 South 1000 East, Sandy UT 84094. Please join us in honoring Nick in celebration with food and fellowship.
