Nicole Fitzgerald Bumgardner's Obituary
Our precious Nicole lost her 9 year battle with breast cancer when brain tumors rendered her body unable to continue doing what her spirit asked of it. She died at her parent’s home in Payson, Utah with her parents and her brother at her side at 2:00 AM, June 24, 2012. She tried everything medically possible to combat the disease and was participating in a clinical trial at UCSD to develop a Chemo that would break the brain barrier, but a late initial diagnosis gave the cancer too much of a head start. Nicole was born January 4, 1978 in Grand Junction, lived in Price, graduated from Richfield High School and Snow College where she married Scott Kade Bumgardner, later divorced. She worked as an Accounts Specialist at Enterprise Rent-A-Car for 10 years including all the cancer years. She left there May 21, 2012 when full time work got to difficult. She is a Hero to her parents, Ted and Annette Fitzgerald, her brother Brandon Scott Fitzgerald, his wife Amanda McKay, and their children Desiree, McKay, Connor, and Taya Nicole, Grandmother Rose Denison 95, and 4 pairs of Aunts and Uncles. Her life was blessed by a special relationship with her Soul Mate, Jeremy Magann the last year of her life. Her last words spoken were to him, “I Love You, Goodbye!” Funeral services will be in Payson at the Mtn. View 1st Ward (100 S 1100 E), 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 30, 2012 with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 AM. Internment will be at the Payson Cemetery. She will be missed by many but forgotten by few.
