Nicomedes "Nick" Tass Espiritu Jr's Obituary
On Thursday August 19, 2021, Nicomedes Tass Espiritu Jr. (Nick), loving husband and father, passed away peacefully at his home in Clearfield, Utah.
Nick was born on January 25, 1958 in Barrigada, Guam to Nicomedes and Mary (Tass) Espiritu. He entered Civil Service in 1982, faithfully serving both the United States Navy and United States Air Force for 38 years. On August 20, 1988, he married Linda Alviar Cabarloc. Together they raised two children, Jennifer and Jason.
Nick grew up with a love of fishing. He also enjoyed cooking and in his later years gardening. He combined these hobbies to the enjoyment of his friends and family, who loved his dishes and fishing stories. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, enjoyed making people laugh with his jokes, and entertaining friends with stories about growing up in Guam.
Nick was preceded in death by his father Nicomedes, his mother Mary, and his brother John. He is survived by his wife, Linda, his children, Jason, Jennifer & Dave Frisk, his brother Ernesto, and his sisters, Leonora, Helen, Ceferina, and Melly.
A viewing and service will be conducted at Premier Funeral Services on August 28, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. located at:
5335 South 1950 West
Roy, Utah 84067
Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by lunch with the family for those who wish to join, location to be determined.
Due to COVID and the risk to the health of family and others, refreshments cannot be served at the Funeral Home.
